Last year my focus for all was “Stay Prepare For The Unexpected,” spiritually, physically, and mentally. For this New Year 2022, we still should stay prepared, but also, we should INTENTIONALLY SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST…hope for the hopeless… to everyone God put in our path and whenever the opportunity present itself to us. We have too many people, especially, our youth, young adults, who feels alone, loveless or and not understood. Why is this? Maybe because we, as believers of Christ, including parents, spiritual leaders, others, failed to communicate appropriately in our homes, in our walk, our daily lifestyle that we model to the world, God’s nonjudgmental love.
Love is a key attribute of God in Christianity, true Believers of Christ. 1 John 4:8 and 16 state that "God is love; and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him." John 3:16 states: "God so loved the world..." In the New Testament, God's love for humanity or the world is expressed in Greek as agape (unconditional love).
As busy as we are, we can get so wrapped up in everyday living that we forget to stop and reflect on what Jesus Christ did for us over two thousand years ago to elevate our lives today. Before Jesus came to earth, the people were required to work hard for every blessing from God. God’s ability to show favor to them depended on what they did first, and strict obedience to the Law of Moses was required in order to escape punishment. Jesus’ death and resurrection reversed the order and made available new life that was previously closed off to us.
I’m here to remind us and share with others that the finished works of Christ impact every area that touches our lives, in the natural as well as the spiritual. The last words Jesus spoke before dying on the cross apply just as much now as they did then. “So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, ‘It is finished!’ And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit” (John 19:30, NKJV). This declaration means that our healing, deliverance, prosperity, victory, joy, peace, and everything else we need in life is already finished and ready for us to claim. Hallelujah, Received it!
In 2022, I challenge you the more, to share the good news of Christ regardless of our current circumstances, the storms that will occur in our lives or environment beyond our controls and in our controls! There is hope for everyone who received and accept Christ as their Lord! Romans 10:8-10 NKJV, states, 8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Hallelujah and Amen!
